The agreement that governs your use of Aon Subscription and our website.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Aon Subscription governing your access to and use of the Aon Subscription application, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By installing the app or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Aon Subscription provides subscription-management tools for Shopify merchants, including recurring orders, billing automation, dunning and retention workflows, a customer portal, and analytics. We may add, modify, or remove features over time to improve the Service. The Service integrates with Shopify and depends on your Shopify store remaining active and in good standing; we are not responsible for issues caused by Shopify or other platforms outside our control.
To use the Service you need an active Shopify store and must provide accurate, current account information. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, legally able to enter into these Terms, and compliant with all applicable laws when using the Service.
Fees for paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system on the cycle shown at the time of sign-up. Unless stated otherwise, charges are recurring and renew automatically until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from within Shopify; cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund amounts already billed except as described below or as required by law. Prices may change with prior notice, and applicable taxes may be added.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once charged. If you believe you were billed in error, contact us within 30 days and we will review the charge in good faith. Any refund or credit we provide is at our discretion and does not obligate us to provide similar adjustments in the future.
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:
The Service interoperates with third-party platforms and integrations, including Shopify, payment processors, and marketing or analytics tools you choose to connect. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. You are responsible for any fees charged by those third parties.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Aon Subscription and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service while these Terms are in effect. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted. Your store data and customer data remain yours; you grant us the permissions necessary to operate the Service on your behalf, and you may provide feedback that we may use without obligation to you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.
To the extent permitted by law, Aon Subscription and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aon Subscription from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content or store data, your products and customer relationships, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete or anonymize your data in line with our Privacy Policy; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aon Subscription operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
